My professional journey began in New York City in short form television and commercial advertising and expanded into fashion, beauty, wellness and branded entertainment. With a MFA from Pratt Institute in Digital Art and Design as my foundation, I started as a graphic artist for the PBS kids classic, Electric Company. Agency work was the next logical step to build branding and presentation skills, working with clients such as Mark Jacobs, Coty, GSN, WWD, IFC, A&E, and AMC. Agencies worked at include BBDO (Designer) and Havas Worldwide (Art Director). Awards won include two Film Director’s Grants from NYSCA (New York State Council on the Arts). Throughout my agency career I won creative pitches for new accounts and contributed to the art direction and design of dozens of creative briefs for print, broadcast, and integrated digital campaigns. From 2020-2022, I brought my passion for helping others discover their creative voice to teaching, working to develop the talent of the future as a professor of Fashion Marketing and Management at Savannah College of Art and Design. I’m currently working freelance in the hospitality and fashion sector and enjoying the beauty of the west coast!
“Me time” includes biking, hiking, pickleball, road trips and taking my frenchie on beach walks. For inquiries please send me a message at kmagnetic@gmail.com
